Our long and successful history

Ahrens was established in 1906 in the Barossa Valley by Wilhelm Ahrens. Over the hundred-plus years that have followed, the business has remained in the Ahrens family and stayed true to a culture that focuses on family, integrity, leadership, efficiency and satisfaction.

As a fourth generation family-owned Australian business, our history and experience have contributed to the formation of a concrete reputation for quality, reliability and innovation. Our range of rural infrastructure and products are designed for Australian conditions and to Australian standards to withstand the hardest of conditions many years down the track.

Over 100 plus years of manufacturing experience

The business started as a humble blacksmith shop in 1906 but soon grew to specialise in agricultural products and steel fabrication.  Over the past 20 years, the business has grown to become a national full-service construction, engineering and mining services company.
