We designed and constructed this new wet-roll feedmill to supply feed for up to 15,000 head of cattle on the expanded Iranda feedlot.
The plant included two 500-tonne grain silos, two 70-tonne tempering silos, in-ground receival with cleaning, conveyors, elevators, wetting and mixing equipment, a control room, and a new 24” x 48” roller mill. Mills were mounted under the roof and over the feed bunkers so no downstream equipment was required at all. The mill also includes a three tank liquid system.
As part of the design we incorporated the client’s existing smaller mill and we also delivered the electrical and control systems for the project.
